TIO Stadium is the Northern Territory’s premier outdoor stadium. With a capacity of over 14,000 including a public and members bars, outlets, and 8 members suites and home to Australian Football and National Rugby League games.

About this opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract until 30th September 2024 at TIO Stadium in Darwin. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will be working closely with Northern Territory AFL as well as other internal and external stakeholders to assist with the successful operations of the venue in line with the business strategic direction.

You will have autonomy to develop and execute financial plans, while leading a service focused hospitality team, guiding development, training, and coaching to ensure operational excellence.  This position will be responsible for upholding strong client relationships and delivering hospitality solutions across the stadium, while ensuring agreed budgets are met and review opportunities for revenue growth.

About you:

• An experienced Hospitality operations professional, preferably from a stadium environment leading hospitality teams
• You have strong knowledge and experience within a project management
• You have experience in business planning and managing operational budgets
• You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• You work well in an operational venue that has high value contracts
• You are passionate about the customer experience and skilled in executing customer led teams
• You have proven experience in coaching and training a diverse team to provide a high level of service
• You have skills with developing and working alongside a senior leadership team to assist with driving business results
