Staff specialists are actively involved in the training of basic and advanced physician trainees and the supervision of international medical graduates. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an evolving department and contribute to positive change in the Tasmanian health system.The Role

• You will have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General and Acute Medicine.
• Contribute to the provision of high-quality inpatient and outpatient care to public and private patients of the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) in General Medicine.
• Contribute to the Department of General Medicine's afterhours and weekend roster.
• Provide professional leadership to medical, nursing, and allied health staff and foster interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Be actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as trainee and IMG supervision and mentoring
• Be involved in research and undertake quality improvement activities.
• Actively support and participate in service development to improve current services and develop new services in the Department of General Medicine.
