Staff Specialist in General Paediatrics

John Hunter Children’s Hospital invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to provide clinical management and treatment of patients with John Hunter Children’s Hospital/HNEKidsHealth.
About the role:
- Opportunity to apply for a fixed-term, five year appointment as Director of General Paediatrics upon successful appointment to this position
- Permanent 1.0 FTE available with fractional appointments preferred
- Provide general paediatric and adolescent medicine services to inpatients of the John Hunter Children’s Hospital, conducting regular paediatric outpatient clinics and participating in the acute general paediatric on-call roster
About you:
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA and have fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways
- Will have evidence of training and experience in General paediatric medicine, including both inpatient and outpatient care of children and young people

We perform over 100,000 occasions of service through outpatient clinics.
