  • Current registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Eligibility for OR current fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or other recognised speciality as provided for in the Staff Specialist (State) Award.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and clinical experience in the management of patients with complex acute and chronic primary health issues.
The Staff SpecialistPrimary Care provides specialist assessment and ongoing care of patients with acute and chronic Primary Care health issues in correctional campuses administered by the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) in accordance with best evidence-based practice and organisational policies.Our Team and ServiceThe Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network is a state-wide specialty health network with a vision:We excel in patient-centred care across community, inpatient and custodial settings.
