AddressWe are a growing team in the truck customization industry located in Dandenong South, and we are looking for a qualified sheet metal fabricator with proven Stainless-steel experience.
The successful applicant will possess the following:
- Strong TIG & Mig welding skills on S/S, Aluminium and Mild steel. ( Weld test will be necessary as part of the interview process).
- General knowledge with all the other common welding processes.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and also be creative with the design of custom truck/trailer parts on the go.
- Experience with all general workshop machinery. CNC press brake, rollers, Guillotine, ( Laser cutting machine an advantage)
- Have pride in their work with an innovative and creative way of thinking.
- Able to effectively work unsupervised and meet deadlines
- Have an eye for detail and precision
- Hold a current driver's licence.
- Perform general stainless-steel polishing (Smooth out and polish out welds).
- Have a can do/problem solving attitude.
- Maintain work areas clean and tidy with good housekeeping attributes.
- Have own general hand tools required for the trade.
Preference will be given to applicants with proven previous experience and with a custom Fabrication background.
Wages are negotiable based on ability to perform required duties.
Applicant must be reliable/punctual and have excellent communication skills.
