We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Stand-alone Power System Technician at our Perth CBD Office, on a 12-month maximum term basis.

About this role

The Stand-alone Power Systems (SPS) Area is responsible for the preparation and management of the SPS program development and deployment.

This is a specialist position responsible for performing complex technical tasks in support of the Stand-alone Power Systems (SPS) program and through the necessary support, enable the wider business, stakeholders, and personnel to contribute to delivery.

About you 

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

  • Cert III Electrotechnology.
  • Current unrestricted WA Electrical Workers License.
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years specialist technical experience within required discipline or experience with Networks, commercial or industrial electrical work.
  • Hold all appropriate industry licences or certificates of competency required to perform the role.
  • Demonstrated technical experience in advanced electrical systems e.g. Instrumentation, alternative power supply or secondary systems.
  • Electrical rules, regulations and associated acts and standards.
  • Resource management experience.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience.
  • MS Office systems, Word, Excel & or Access. MIMS, DOCS, and other specialist applications.
  • Customers engagement or service industry.
  • Valid WA Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’.
