About the role:
Working with the State/ Branch Sales Team, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding the Company’s annual sales budgets for Queensland and Northern Territory. You will be required to assist the sales team in Brisbane to develop new opportunities through prospecting new and existing customers, managing sales and rental accounts, and identifying and building relationships through regular liaison with key decision makers to improve the Company’s market share and profitability.
Ultimately this role is accountable for the local Sales function, setting targets and objectives, driving sales growth, allocating and adjusting resources, maintaining sales performance with a strong focus on people development. You will also be responsible for the maintenance, growth and profitability of the Partner of Jungheinrich Network, which may involve periodic intrastate travel.
This includes engaging the team within the business and developing people through specific training and development needs to meet both their career aspirations and Company goals.

Critical Experience:-
- Significant sales, commercial and financial acumen aligned with a Technical Background within an industrial environment
- Proven ability in meeting sales expectations.
- Prior experience and understanding of effective management of interrelationships that exist between key departments in a like business.
- Experience in situational adaptability.
- Sound understanding of the Sales process
- Proven leadership and people management skills extending to various lines of reporting throughout an organisation.
- Experience in a technical, engineering, industrial, materials handling or earthmoving equipment preferred
Required knowledge:-
- Tertiary qualifications within a Business Management related field are preferred.
- Sound understanding of budget preparation, stock forecasting and ordering.
- Extensive knowledge in sales management systems, such as CRM.
- Modern people leadership and management techniques.
- Material management in sales – preferred.
- Solid understanding of current WH&S, Quality and Environmental system compliance within an industrial setting
