The Role
Due to an internal transfer, Hewitt presents an exciting opportunity for an individual seeking a career in a challenging yet rewarding environment, working amongst a highly professional, industry leading team. The role will be based at Bylong Station in the Mudgee region of NSW. The role presents the opportunity to live on-site and immerse yourself in the business. Reporting directly to Station Management, you will be a strong communicator, a driven and committed team player who is focused on progressing their career.
Responsibilities
- General station/farm duties & maintenance.
- Operation of machinery for pasture & crop production.
- Stock work including yard work & mustering of cattle.
- Fencing & stock water maintenance.
We are Looking for Someone Who Has
- Natural animal husbandry skills & experience.
- Passion, enthusiasm & a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to communicate & work well in a small team environment as well as independently.
- Excellent problem solving & time management skills.
- Experience with farm machinery including tractors & implements.
- Knowledge of stud process and recording keeping would be advantageous.
