How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As our new Urban Statutory Planner, you’ll work with a team of highly skilled specialists. You’ll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of international clients and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future. In this statutory planning role that you will see you working on projects that are subject to several different local and State frameworks; your attention split between acquiring the necessary planning permits and approvals to acquire new telecommunication sites and completing the necessary stakeholder notification processes to permit infrastructure upgrades on existing telecommunication sites.

Here are the key things you’ll do:
Complete detailed due diligence reports to identify environmental risk and opportunities to acquire new greenfield telecommunication sites.
Drafting, lodgement and management of development applications to acquire permits for new telecommunication sites.
Undertake community consultation in accordance with the deployment code for existing telecommunication site upgrades.

Alongside your industry experience in similar, engineering consulting, or equivalent roles, you’ll also have:

Degree or higher in Urban Town Planning
Demonstrated experience in DA assessment
A solid understanding of statutory planning
Experience in the drafting, lodgement and management of development applications within several government frameworks.
