As a Stewarding team member you will be responsible for maintaining the entire Food & Beverage spaces including the many kitchens, bars and restaurants. This position is a physically demanding role with tight time constraints and a high level of attention to detail but very rewarding with a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day!

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will ensure the highest levels of health and hygiene are maintain at across our Food & Beverage outlets at The Star Sydney.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Culinary team to ensure all restaurant equipment is cleaned and restocked ready for every service
  • Ensuring cleaning checklists completed and hygiene standards are maintained
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and organisation of Food and Beverage venues

What are we looking for:

  • Flexible availability across a 7-day roster
  • Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or heavy manual labour (highly desired)
  • Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work both solo and as part of large team
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods (desired but not essential)
