About theRole
Inclusive Educators work with a range of key partners to ensurethe best outcomes for children and young people. Collaborating withfamilies, preschools, schools and local education teams, internalagencies and external agencies will ensure that the expertise andknowledge from each of these stakeholders can contribute to supportchildren and young people with additional needs achieve optimaloutcomes.
Inclusive Educators work as part of a larger multidisciplinaryteam in Student Support Services (SSS) who provide proactive,targeted and intensive intervention services to support additionalneeds of learners. The SSS team works in partnership with schools,preschools and families and may be available for children andstudents who have developmental delay/disability, learningdifficulties, displayed unsafe and/or unproductive behaviours,health or wellbeing needs, challenges with disengagement ornon-attendance, communication difficulties.
Qualifications
Essential: Current fullteacher registration
Desirable: Tertiaryqualification in special/inclusive education
Special Conditions
Thesuccessful applicant is required to gain a Department for HumanServices (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to beingemployed which is required to be renewed every five years beforeexpiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC(Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care)Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online(Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated everythree years.

Remuneration
STL2:$126,217 per annum plus superannuation.
