Morgan Consulting are delighted to be supporting a large Australian manufacturing company in recruiting an experienced Stock Controller to be a part of their Supply Chain function.
Reporting into the Warehouse & Materials Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a nation-wide operation. With plans of expansion to their Adelaide site, this role offers the opportunity for eccelerated career growth.
The role:
Managing and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
Monitoring stock levels and initiating replenishment orders as needed.
Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Implementing efficient inventory control procedures to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
Collaborating with other departments to forecast demand and optimise stock levels.
Utilising inventory management software to track and analyse inventory movements.
The ideal candidate:
Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and MS Excel.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
