Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Store Manager to lead our Doreen store. As the face of Proud Poppy Clothing, you will be instrumental in maintaining and growing the vibrant community spirit that our store is known for. You will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the highest level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales associates.
- Ensure staff are well-trained in customer service, product knowledge, and store policies.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate store goals and updates.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Organize and participate in community-building events such as VIP in-store shopping nights, sensory nights, and other special events.
Operations:
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, restocking, and merchandising.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Sales and Performance:
- Achieve sales targets and KPI goals.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Implement strategies to drive traffic and increase sales.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the retail fashion industry, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Passion for fashion and community engagement.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Proficiency in retail management software.
Additional Information:
- The store is currently a smaller location but will be expanding to double its floor space in the next 3 months.
- As the store expands, the Store Manager will play a crucial role in managing the transition and ensuring the seamless integration of new space and inventory.
