Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our piano store in West Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, a deep understanding of pianos, and a proven track record of driving sales and delivering excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Drive sales growth by setting ambitious sales targets, developing sales strategies, and motivating the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that every customer receives exceptional service by training and coaching staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining accurate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing displays to showcase our range of pianos and accessories, ensuring that the showroom maintains a welcoming and professional appearance.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to maximize their potential.
- Operational Efficiency: Implement efficient processes and procedures to streamline operations, minimize costs, and maximize profitability.
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
- Financial Management: Monitor sales performance, expenses, and budgets to ensure profitability and financial targets are met.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
- Strong knowledge and passion for pianos and/or music.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships with customers.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
