Beefy’s are seeking a full-time Store Manager at our busy Boutique Pie Bakery Café, located near Glasshouse on the Bruce Highway. This role will be a Co-Manager role alongside the existing Store Manager who is in a joint role of Store Manager/Area Manager. This new role will be to assist and share in the running and overseeing of the store.

The Role
This role involves working 38 hours per week on a rotating roster between Monday and Sunday working a variety of shifts including every second weekend. Shifts are rostered between the hours of 04.00am and 19.30pm. Due to the early morning shifts your own transport is essential. In this position you will enjoy:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in providing excellent customer service, be friendly and enthusiastic with a positive attitude. They will remain calm under pressure, have great time management skills and be able to lead, motivate and inspire a team.
Duties will include:
- Ensuring excellence in Customer Service as the number one priority
- Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and store cleanliness
- Training, supervising, mentoring and coaching team members
- Management of stock including rotation, quality and minimising wastage
- Implementing operational policies and managing back office administration
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety & Food Safety
- Planning and managing rosters
- Promoting a positive work environment that motivates team members to grow, be challenged and have fun!
- Minimum 2 years previous experience managing and leading a team preferably in a retail/food service environment
- Customer service focused, with the ability to engage new customers and maintain returning customer relationships
- Highly organised with great time management and communication skills
- Self motivated, reliable and honest
- Able to build solid relationships within the store team and greater network as well as with customers, suppliers and contractors.
- Ability to effectively manage quality issues and minimise wastage
- Ability to achieve store KPI’s
