BP/Foodworks Salt Ash is part of the Jack & Co Food stores and will be transitioning to the Jack & Co brand. We're a family owned business that started on the mid north coast of NSW. We have a mission to bring the freshest convenience stores to the world. We offer fresh barista made coffee, pastries, fresh sandwiches and everyday grocery essentials. It’s a well established store with fantastic clientele and is known for its great in store offer, consistent staff and community involvement.
Qualifications & experience
- Previous retail, grocery, service station or hospitality experience
- Experience with retail or hospitality systems
- Experience managing a team of 10-20 people
- Food safety supervisor and Petroleum Convenience Compliance would be highly regarded
- Passion for working with customers, food, groceries and coffee
Tasks & responsibilities
- Delivers an exceptional customer experience every time
- Manages a clean, hygienic and OHS environment
- Manages human resources to ensure we recruit, train and manage staff to get optimum performance.
- Executes and reviews sales and marketing initiatives to continue to grow sales
- Manages the business for success and profitability. Ordering, compliance, manages financials and meets KPIs
- Engages with local community groups and provides support
- Can work autonomously and as part of a team
- Runs the business like its your own business
