Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, including banking, budget management, and staff rostering.
- Ensure the store meets sales targets and KPIs through effective training, motivation, and mentoring of staff.
- Take proactive measures in staff hiring, promotions, and, if necessary, disciplinary procedures.
- Conduct thorough induction and training programs for new team members to ensure productivity and compliance.
- Maintain a fully stocked store environment to meet customer demands and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage trade accounts and relationships with key clients, if applicable.
Inventory and Logistics:
- Manage stocktaking, stock control, and ensure accurate receipt and distribution of shipments.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the showroom and warehouse.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Resolve any customer issues, complaints, or grievances promptly and professionally.
- Uphold high levels of customer service by training staff and maintaining service standards.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Implement and adhere to company WH&S standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager in a fast-paced retail environment, ideally within the trades or home improvement sector.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of driving sales and managing a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of bathroom, kitchen, or construction products is highly advantageous.

- Valid driver's license.
