Overview:
A Store Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service while driving sales. A good Store Manager builds a relationship with customers while providing the ultimate shopper experience through sales, customer support, and cashier responsibilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them about our products and services.
- Assist with maintaining a positive culture in the store.
- Have knowledge of liquor products to provide customers with recommendations.
- Drive sales in all liquor departments.
- Replenish and maintain inventory.
- Perform cashier functions and adhere to minor policy while completing customer transactions.
- Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
- Follow proper age verification policies.
- Accept payments, such as cash, checks, and credit cards.
- Ensure all prices and quantities are accurate and provide a customer receipt.
- Process refunds and exchanges.
- Balance the register drawer.
- Bag or box purchases to ensure safe transport.
- Follow all liquor procedures regarding coupons and gift cards.
- Maintain store safety standards.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist in maintaining standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms.
- Assist in promotions and setup of liquor events.
- Able to follow banking procedures.
- Able to plan and update rosters.
- Highly motivated and hardworking, and able to motivate and lead a team.
The successful applicant must have:
- Current police clearance.
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience working in a Liquor Store.
- Current forklift license.
- Current Australian driver's license.
- Must have approved managers ticket.
This is a full-time position with shifts across weekdays and weekends.
