Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at Opposite Lock Albury Wodonga. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and driving sales growth. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates and technicians to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
- Customer Service: Ensure that every customer receives exceptional service, from initial consultation to post-sale support.
- Sales Management: Drive sales performance by implementing effective sales strategies and promotions.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and stocktaking, to ensure the store is well-stocked with popular products.
- Store Operations: Handle day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining store cleanliness and organisation.
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute in-store promotions and events.
- Financial Management: Monitor store financials, including sales targets, budgets, and expenses, to ensure profitability.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing expert advice and assistance with their accessory fitting needs.
- Mechanical Aptitude and Service Work: Demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude to assist with service work, including fitting accessories and troubleshooting mechanical issues related to 4WD vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of 4WD accessories and the off-road market is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge and aptitude, with experience in service work and accessory fitting.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using retail management software and MS Office.
- Ability to analyse sales data and make informed decisions.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
