Are you a dynamic and experienced leader in the retail/hospitality industry looking for a new challenge? We are currently seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Store Manager (Restaurant Manager) at our client's business in the picturesque Blue Mountains.
Role Overview
As the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bustling business, with a primary focus on managing the coffee side of the store. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of a busy store and takeaway restaurant, including but not limited to, order fulfillment, staff supervision, and customer service.
- Oversee the coffee side of the store, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup served.
- Work within a structured electronic ordering system to manage inventory and streamline operations.
- Lead and motivate a team of 12-14 staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to enhance sales and profitability.
Requirements
- Solid experience in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably within the retail or food and beverage industry.
- Proven track record of effectively managing teams and delivering results in a dynamic and demanding setting.
- Hands-on approach to leadership, with the ability to lead by example and inspire excellence in others.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships with both customers and team members.
- Flexibility to work a Monday to Friday roster, 8am to 5pm, with the possibility of adjustments to accommodate personal commitments such as school drop-offs.
- Experience working with a structured electronic ordering system is highly advantageous.
- Candidates with experience in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) are encouraged to apply.
