We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Store Person at our Silverwater warehouse.
We are seeking a proactive and reliable individual to join our team as a Store Person. The Store Person will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage inventory, handle shipments, and assist with various warehouse tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming shipments of merchandise.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they are properly packaged and labelled.
- Operate a forklift to move and stack materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid forklift license and demonstrated experience operating a forklift.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software and basic data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour as required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.
