Store Person

Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force have an exciting opportunity for a full time Store Person / Administrator to join the team based at Lone Pine Barracks in Singleton NSW, within our Defence contract. The role is a 50/50 split between Administration and Stores work.

The successful applicant will work Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm week 1, and 8 am - 4 pm the alternate week. The position offers $26.65 per hour.

You must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Negative Vetting Level 1. You must be an Australian Citizen.

What you will be doing:

• Database & inventory management using SAP-based MILIS (Military Integrated Logistics Information System) system.
• Operating computer system to obtain quantities and complete purchases of stock
• Inventory management, receipt, and delivery of goods.
• Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow - receiving, scanning, sorting and placing incoming goods on shelves.
• Check on email enquiries and reply where applicable / general housekeeping of the inbox.

Could you be our next Store Person?

• Proven experience in a stores and warehousing environment
• Retail / customer service experience advantageous
• Experience in an administration role, ideally within a Stores / Warehousing environment is highly regarded.
• Excellent computer skills, attention to detail, and organisational skills
• Valid driver's licence is essential.
• Forklift License or willingness to obtain one.
