About the Role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Store Person to join our team. The position is full time permanent opportunity based in Bathurst NSW, with the minimum weekly hours to be 38 hrs.
Duties will include, but not limited to;
- Unloading incoming freight, checking off packing slips and packing equipment into the store
- Picking and packing of assembly work orders.
- Dispatching goods, including the generating of consignment notes
- Unloading and loading containers
- Procurement and supply chain management
- Forklift driving
- Some heavy lifting
- Arranging and organising the store bin locations
- Maintaining the store in a clean and tidy condition
- Maintaining stock levels
- Maintaining the yard in a clean and orderly way
- Sorting pallets of pump parts into various categories
- Provide general assistance to teams within the workshop on ad-hoc tasks
Criteria
You will have the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. You will be enthusiastic, results driven can-do person ideally having experience within a similar position. You will also possess.
- A current drivers license
- Excellent communication skills both face to face and telephone
- Computer literate skills
- Forklift licence (an advantage)
- Drivers Licence (HR Licence an Advantage)
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Ability to work as a team
- Strong time management skills
- A passion for your job and the welfare of the company
- A great attitude to hard work.
