Store person - Depot Logistics
Temporary Full-time Opportunity (12 Months - Until April 2025)
38 hours a week - Work a 9-day F ortnight ( Rostered Day Off)
Salary Ranging from $62,657.40 - $72,683.00 p.a + 11% Superannuation (Depending on Experience)
The Opportunity
The position is responsible for the purchase of goods and materials, manage store stock and to organise the maintenance of the depot yard in accordance with Councils adopted policies and procedures. You will be required to start at 7:30am and finish at 4:30pm. You may be required however not limited to:
Acquire stores, consumables, material, bulky goods and services that are fit for purpose at the most attractive cost.
Maintain where appropriate stock items at suitable levels to meet daily and emergency requirements.
Maintain the Moss Vale depot yard in a tidy, clean and safe state, including organising various cleaning and maintenance work and regular safety inspections.
Use Council Finance Computer system (currently Finance 1) to order and manage stock.
Assist with the registration and auditing of Accountable items.

Essential Criteria
Experience in Warehousing Operations OR Cert II, III or IV in Warehousing operations.
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of warehousing, managing stores and materials and purchasing functions.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and members of a team.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly motivated and enthusiastic team.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of word processing packages, database, spreadsheet and e-mail applications.
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to Work Health & Safety legislation and responsibilities.
Valid Construction General Induction card - NSW Work Cover or equivalent OR willingness to obtain.
Competency in operations of a frontend loader.
Current Class C Driver's Licence.
