About the role
Western Truck Group are seeking an energetic and motivated Parts Store Person for the Rockhampton branch. If you enjoy being part of a team in a fast-paced environment, have a strong, organised work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude - we want to hear from you! You will be responsible for:
- Receiving, handling and dispatching goods within a store/warehouse in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping
- Safety
- Customer satisfaction – "Work right first time, on-time"
- Workshop presentation and cleanliness
- Upon completion of work, ensure work is carried out to a high standard
- Ensuring the timely and accurate flow of parts into workshop
- Rolling stock taking of parts
- Operation of forklift and daily prestart check list
- Customer Deliveries

Skills and experience
Valued Skills and prior experience include:
- Safety Champion
- Sound PC skills
- Car Licence necessary
- Forklift licence preferred or willing- to obtain.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good presentation skills
- Parts merchandising and warehousing skills highly desirable
- Previous stocktake experience preferred.
