We currently have an opportunity for a Casual Store Person to join our award-winning supermarket located in the Atherton Tablelands.

About the position:
Due to our business growing we are seeking a dynamic candidate with experience as a supermarket Store Person or similar role.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage incoming product, verify its quantity and quality and inspect for damages and temperature (when required).
- Unload deliveries and transfer items to appropriate storage areas using handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks or walkie stacker.
- Maintain organised storage areas and ensure efficient operations on the back dock.
- Have a proactive approach in identifying and completing tasks to enhance overall department productivity.
Preference will be given to applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience as a supermarket Store Person or similar role
- Have a current forklift licence
- Be proficient in operating handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet back and walkie stackers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness learn and adhere to WHS and food safety compliance standards
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays.
