Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced material controller to to track and manage all equipment, parts and inventory movements at the Wacol Branch.
General Responsibilities
- Receive/dispatch equipment and materials
- Record deliveries and process goods received information
- Label and maintain part numbers on stock
- Ensure a presentable carpark area
- Book and track incoming and outgoing freight
- Safely pack and wrap shipments
- Perform return from hire inspections and report on damage and missing equipment
- Arrange and optimise the stores layout
- Take ownership of parts and inventory levels, including spare part ordering, backorder follow-up, good receipting and completion of spare part invoices and shipping
- Assist with stocktakes and fixed asset reporting
- Assist in Branch activities which may include but not limited to; cleaning of equipment, housekeeping, stock movement, unloading, loading, deliveries, collections, manual handling, assisting tradesman with parts, tools, job completions.
- Focus and encourage a continuous improvement culture to develop new practices and procedures enabling improved operational performance
- At all times promote Renteca services to clients and potential clients
- Monitor, and report on client satisfaction and complaints
- Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory and policy requirements as appropriate
Client Specific
- The Material Controller shall have contact with clients and suppliers and should, at all times, actively seek to resolve concerns and act on requests as appropriate
- Ensure that customer and supplier requests are responded to in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure that all products and services are delivered within agreed timeframes
