Storeman / Warehouse Operators

Smith & Co Recruitment are currently seeking Storemen  for our client a leading building and construction supplies company located in Salisbury. 

Position Details: 

• Monday to Friday
• Different shifts available: 6am to 2pm, 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm 
• $32.00 per hour 
• Casual full-time with view to permanency at 6 months 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Picking orders
• Dispatching orders 
• Manual handling 
• Loading and unloading trucks (with Forklift and manually) 
• Forklift driving 
• Inventory 
• General yard duties (indoors and outdoors)
• General warehouse and housekeeping duties 

Requirements: 

• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
• Current Forklift Licence
• Overhead Gantry Ticket (CB) - not required but will be advantageous
• Previous experience as a Storemen or Forklift Driver 
• Ability to lift up to 20kg
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic Literacy and numeracy 
• 2 contactable work references.
