Our client based in Hope Valley are looking for an experienced store person to help out with the management of materials!
Duties will include:
- Safely and efficiently move steel into and out of the warehouse.
- Load/unload trucks using forklift or overhead crane.
- Sling materials/operate cranes following standard procedures, ensuring equipment maintenance and product quality.
- Optimise truck loading/offloading for store efficiency and quick turnaround.
- Stack materials correctly, maintaining product quality and traceability.
- Maintain the store, keeping walkways clean, tools organised, and ensuring product overhang is avoided.
- Perform daily checks and equipment maintenance for cranes.
- Provide excellent customer service to pick-up customers.
This position will suit a candidate with:
- A reliable transport
- A Forklift Licence
- Overhead Crane licence
- Able to work between pm-10pm
- Ability to adapt & Learn
Training will be provided for successful candidate- 2 weeks on a am-pm Roster (Day shift rate+ pens) before being moved to the Afternoon shift pm-10pm (Afternoon shift rate + pens)
