Position Overview:
As a Storeperson, your primary role will involve the efficient and safe transportation and warehousing of goods. You will process orders, oversee the order fulfilment cycle, and ensure that supplies, stock materials, packages, and products move smoothly through our delivery and warehouse system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks including receipt, storage, and delivery of spare parts and accessories.
- Manage order fulfilment and transportation activities to meet deadlines.
- Load and unload goods using a forklift or other manual handling equipment.
- Liaise with third-party freight service providers to schedule pickups and meet delivery deadlines.
- Carry out local pickups/drop-offs, especially for CPG’s Volvo Penta Dealer Network.
- Maintain immaculate record keeping.
- Participate in regular stocktaking.
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with customers and the parts team.
- Offer flexible and helpful customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A self-starter, with the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of computerised parts processing systems or the ability to learn quickly.
- Previous experience in warehouse environments desirable.
- A mature outlook with developed time management skills and a high attention to detail.
- Hardworking, physically fit, and reliable.
- Current manual driver's license
- Forklift license.
- Must pass a pre-start medical, drug, and alcohol test.
- Right to work in Australia.
