About You
Excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Warehousing who is motivated with the ability to manage all aspects of the warehouse floor. Working in a small team, you will need good physical fitness, a willingness to work hard, and possess a strong work ethic, harnessed with reliability and punctuality. The ideal applicant will be an excellent team player, has an eye for detail and good communication /customer service skills.
Your broad responsibilities will include
- Pack stock correctly as per the packing slip and package appropriately as per shipping method
- Assist in all aspects of the warehouse including accurate picking and cyclic stock counts
- Carry out all work in compliance with Work and Health & Safety requirements
- Housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse area.
To be successful in the role, you will possess
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar warehouse environment, with the ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated ability to organise your own time efficiently and able to work to deadlines and established targets.
- A current forklift license is desirable.
- Proven experience within a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse.
- Well-presented and punctual with excellent attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Flexible with the ability to multi-task and work unsupervised.
- Is physically fit and able to lift moderate-heavy weights (up to 15kg) correctly and without personal injury
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems.
