We are presently in search of an energetic and customer-centric Storeperson to join our Clients tight-knit team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the accurate and timely receiving, dispatching of goods, and fulfilling customer orders.
Essential Job Functions
- Efficiently process customer orders and incoming goods to maintain "on-time delivery."
- Adhere to work processes and offer support across various business units.
- Collaborate with operations and sales staff to ensure precise picking and dispatching of orders as specified by customers.
- Monitor stock levels and carry out replenishment activities.
- Coordinate with freight companies for pickups and deliveries.
- Resolve transport queries and manage proof of deliveries online using transport company software.
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile them through the inventory system in SAP, consulting with the Operations Supervisor.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and maintain and monitor stock locations in SAP.
- Post inbound/outbound deliveries for invoicing via SAP.
- Collaborate with customer service staff to identify and resolve any ordering or receiving issues.
- Conduct 5S activities to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Monday – Friday 07:00am – 15.06pm
Rate: $33.00 plus penalties
Key Requirements
- Preferably, prior experience in a similar role; however, hands-on training will be provided.
- Possession of a current Forklift license.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, with prior experience in SAP being highly regarded.
- Ability to lift loads up to 20kg freely, from ground to shoulder height.
- Knowledge of and compliance with OH&S regulations and safety procedures.
