We are one of the largest window and door manufacturers in Australia and we need new staff to expand.

We are searching for an energetic Storeperson with a can-do attitude, combined with good written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn.

The successful applicant will become an integral part of our Warehousing and Distribution team in our National Store located at our Head Office in Geelong. Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Reporting to the national store Purchasing Officer and Working with our lead storeman picking and packing orders. 
• Stacking Shelves and ensuring stock in the warehouse is at capacity at all times.
• Preparation of finished packed goods for interstate and local customers.
• Forklift operation and the loading and unloading of trucks.
• Lifting, carrying, loading and unloading supplies.
• Ensuring stock storage areas are kept clean and tidy and free from hazards.
• Checking delivery dockets with stock received to ensure product and quantities are accurate.
• Accurate completion of paperwork. 
• Assisting monthly stocktakes.
• General warehouse work

You will be an energetic and committed team player with:

• Previous warehouse experience to include picking/packing (manual paper picking), truck loading/unloading, container unloading and other general warehouse duties. 
• A valid forklift license and forklift experience. 
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills including competency with MS Office and sending and receiving emails.
• Ability to work in a small team environment and accurately follow instructions.
• Experience with a High Reach Lifter and Counterbalance would be an advantage.
• Container unloading experience also an advantage.
• Current drivers and own transport.
• Available to work Monday to Friday from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
