Reporting to the Senior Operations Officer:
Coordinates the purchase and distribution of stores, equipment and services across the Frankland District, which includes the store in Walpole, supply to William Bay Work Centre and general oversight of the store supplies required for the Valley of the Giant Tree Top Walk Visitor Experience, for operational needs.
Ensures that the prescribed procedures for the management and control of stores and equipment are implemented and observed.
Assists with the coordination of delivery, servicing and repair of the districts fleet.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following four (4) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.
Sound knowledge, and experience in ordering and managing the supply of stores and fire equipment; including an ability to seek and manage quotations, preparation and payment of invoices in accordance with Government supply procedures, and the management of consumables in a multi work centre environment.
Demonstrated experience in negotiating and liaising with external suppliers, contractors and customers for the provision of goods and services.
Proven ability to plan and implement work in an efficient manner, organise resources, determine day to day priorities and ensure best practice quality control measures are achieved.
Knowledge of a light fleet management system.
Note: The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current (issue date not older than 6 months) and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
