About the role

Due to significant growth, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Store person / Administrator to join our growing team in Mackay. 

The role of Store person is to support the branch operations in the processing of materials and servicing of orders. It includes the managing the delivery and dispatch of all materials relating to the branch using a barcoding system which is designed for stock control.

The successful candidate will be expected to complete a number of administrative roles which are related to the warehouse duties as well as supporting the Project Supervisor

What your new role will involve?

• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders for Height Safety projects using a barcode system
• Responsible for any items returned to stock using barcoding system
• Assist the Project Supervisor of numerous administrative procedures, such as operation manuals specific to projects
• Participate in stock take activities for the branch, including installer vehicles (company & contractor).
• Ensuring orders are ready prior to day end for collection by installation teams
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, workstations, drop off / collection zones clean and tidy.

What you need to be successful?

• Current Forklift License
• Extensive experience in warehousing and distribution
• Experience with Bar code scanners will be an added advantage.
• Competent literacy, numeracy and computer skills required to complete the requirements of the role
• Proactive and positive attitude.
• Complying with company procedures and regulations.
• Working rights in Australia
