Centurion is currently looking for an experienced Freight Officer to join our team based out of our Broome depot! The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading and manoeuvring of general freight, van pickups and deliveries to our clients around the Broome area, and general stores/yard duties.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Processing of various types of freight from beginning to end
- Secure and restrain all loads in a safe manner
- Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions
- Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured / packed correctly for dispatch and loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times
- Data entry of received freight into the clients preferred computerised system
- Provide excellent communication to both internal & external stakeholders
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a logistics or warehousing environment
- Current Forklift Licence (LF) (preferred)
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Computer literacy and previous scanning experience (preferred)
- Ability to take direction from management
