MLG Oz are seeking a reliable and experienced Storeperson to join our team on a Crushing & Screening project in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. 
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe management of inventory in our warehouse, ensuring all materials are delivered to the appropriate departments in a timely and organised manner.

This role is: 

Reporting to the Inventory and Purchasing Manager, this role is:

• 8/6 Roster
• Fulltime 
• FIFO from Perth 

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, and store inventory items in the warehouse
• Lead bi-annual stock takes and execute cycle counts as assigned by the Inventory and Purchasing Manager
• Prepare and package materials for transport
• Key resource in the startup/demob of projects, including system and physical setup of warehouse
• In conjunction with the Inventory Controller, use tools to review slow moving, excess and obsolete stock holding
• Audits team compliance with Inventory and related policies and procedures and outlines corrective actions required
• Assist with purchasing officer functions when required. This includes, but limited to, raising requisitions, converting purchase orders, receipting, invoicing, and freight coordination.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

• Current & Valid Drivers Licence 
• Current & Valid Forklift license and experience operating a forklift
• Experience in a Crushing & Screening environment and knowledge of the inventory
• Cert 2 in Warehousing (desirable) 
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
