The Role
Take this newly created Storeperson role and run with it! Based at our Canning Vale office, reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing materials and logistic functions whilst supporting the construction and maintenance teams in relation to Powerline maintenance work. Including;
- Manage and maintain inventory levels for all parts and components
- Stock control and reconciliation with our data storage system
- Ensure that parts are properly stocked and stored to prevent damage or loss
- Process purchase orders and invoices
- Allocate parts to production orders and maintenance jobs
- Track and report on inventory usage
- Reconcile inventory levels with physical counts
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions
- Ensure compliance across all workplace safety regulations and protocols to create a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe environment and ensuring that expected standards of health and safety, hygiene and security are adhered too
- 3+ years of experience managing inventory and parts. A Certificate IV in Warehousing and Logistics is desirable.
- A current and valid Australian forklift licence
- Demonstrated experience with purchasing, allocating parts, and reporting and maintaining inventory within SAP
- Experience in care and preservation of stock/inventory
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
