Position: Storeperson
As a Storeperson with our client, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of their Automotive Spare Parts warehouse. You will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and supporting the efficient distribution of parts to their customers. Your attention to detail, organisation, and dedication to quality service will be essential in this role. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, inspect, and record incoming Spare Parts shipments.
* Organise and store Spare Parts in designated locations within the warehouse.
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability.
* Prepare orders for shipment, including accurate picking and packing of parts.
* Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
* Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
* Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or storekeeping role, preferably in an Automotive Spare Parts environment.
* Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
* Ability to lift and move heavy items and operate warehouse equipment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Strong work ethic and reliability.
* Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is a plus.
* Forklift Licence Essential
