Telegram Co/Milligram is an established wholesaler and retailer of leading international stationery and lifestyle brands. Our diverse, omnichannel business incorporates an established distribution network throughout Australia & New Zealand, a multi-door retail business (Milligram) and several eCommerce sites, including milligram.com.
Our warehouse operation is an essential link in delivering an exceptional service experience to our wholesale and retail customers. We currently have a casual Warehouse Assistant position available to help us deliver on that promise.
The Role
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will contribute to the daily operations of the warehouse by working quickly, accurately and safely. Your duties will include:
- Picking stock for customer orders using scanning technology
- Packing orders into boxes and satchels with accuracy and attention to detail
- Dispatching orders using our ERP shipping system as required
- Assisting with accepting deliveries and unpacking stock from boxes
- Contributing to maintaining the warehouse in a clean, organised and tidy state and adhering to all work health and safety requirements
- Assisting the broader team with tasks that ensure the smooth running of the warehouse as required
You will have a passion for working in a timely, efficient and effective manner, and willingness to perform a range of tasks. You will be supported with the required training to ensure you can successfully help our team achieve results.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Ideally have warehouse experience, but if you have little experience but a willingness to learn, you’ll be provided with all the training you need
- Have good numeracy skills and computer literacy to operate our systems
- Have great attention to detail
- Be punctual and reliable, with reliable transport to our West Footscray workplace
- Have strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- A can-do attitude, with a passion to deliver results with high productivity levels
