An exciting opportunity is available for a Storeperson to join ITM Mining at our Welshpool facility.
Working in a fast paced, highly productive environment you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient receipt, storage and despatch of goods to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Roles & responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Accurate picking and packing of orders.
- Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
- Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
- Load and unload commercial vehicles in accordance with the Chain of Responsibility.
- Stock take and cycle counts.
- Ensure that all inwards and outwards paperwork is maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
- Resolving delivery disputes and general warehouse problems.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Previous experience, skills and attributes:
- Proven warehouse experience in a fast-moving environment.
- Must have HRWL LF and experience using various size forklifts
- Experience and knowledge of Load Restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software - BC experience desirable
- High attention to detail, diligence, and punctuality
- Cultural sensitivity: required ability to work with diverse peoples equally and fairly within the workplace
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities with strong internal and external customer service drive.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A current driver's licence and forklift ticket and experience operating various size forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Reach truck experience desirable.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience handling various materials including ugly freight.
- Experience operating various forklifts 2T reach - 16T.
- Effective organisational and time management skills to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation, energy, initiative and commitment, with the capacity to deal with multiple and often conflicting priorities.
- High level written, oral and interpersonal communication skills to engage with a wide range of people.
- Previous warehouse store person experience required.
