About the role
Mater’s Supply Chain Operations team currently have multiple opportunities for Storepersons/Imprest Officers to join the team of professionals in a physically demanding, fast-paced and challenging environment.
Salary range: $29.59 – $32.09 (Operational Officer Level 2) per hour plus superannuation plus salary packaging up to $15,900
What you’ll be doing
As a Storeperson, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to) assisting with:
- Storage, picking and distribution of goods across the Mater South Brisbane Campus
- Receipting of goods
- Unloading (and loading) of vehicles
- Maintenance of Imprest locations
- Customer Service – Face to Face and Telephone
- General stores duties as directed by your Team Leader
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Certificate II in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing and Storage), or equivalent is desirable, but not essential.
- Demonstrated experience working as part of an effective team
- Knowledge in stores functionality and practices, including materials handling, storage, impresting and picking of goods
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships, including the ability to communicate and liaise with all levels of staff and customers
- Ability to work flexible hours as required, including some weekends and evenings
- A positive “can do” attitude with ability to problem-solve
- Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements for a warehouse environment
