Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial stocktake and ongoing rolling stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Handle loading and unloading of deliveries, picking, packing, and dispatching orders.
- Accurate and detail-oriented documentation and inventory management.
- Assist in sourcing products for high-priority jobs or securing better deals through effective negotiation.
- Liaise with freight companies to coordinate timely deliveries and manage shipping logistics.
- Proactively chase and resolve problem orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage returns efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in the quoting process by providing accurate product information and pricing.
Requirements:
- Physically healthy with the ability to handle occasional heavy deliveries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong numerical skills
- Enjoys securing great deals and is proactive in seeking cost-saving opportunities with the ability to think outside of the box.
- Accurate and detail-oriented when handling data and inventory management.
- Ability to think creatively and problem-solve, thinking outside the box to find solutions.
Beneficial Skills (but not essential):
- Familiarity with navigating parts breakdowns and a basic understanding of electronics/mechanics.
Experience:
- Specific training will be provided for the role.
