POSITION – STORES AND MAINTENANCE OFFICER
AEM is a Territory Proud, earthmoving & mechanical company, who are looking for an eager, career driven individual to join our Workshop Administration team.
As a Stores and Maintenance officer, you must have a desire to produce excellent work every time, and the self-discipline to achieve that desire.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Assist with sourcing parts, pricing and availability, correct the first time and in a timely manner
- Order special / urgent parts and make determinations regarding quality, price, shipping and availability
- Notify Workshop Supervisor of out-of-stock or items that need immediate attention
- Carry out regular stocktake of consumables and replenish
- Complete required workshop documents, i.e. repair schedules
- Assist administration team with workshop administration registers and records
- Maintain extreme privacy and integrity with matters relating to employees, customer information, project correspondence
- Collection of parts and additional adhoc duties required
- Attention to detail, excellent Written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to following Health, Safety and Environment Policies and Procedures
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience with the use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Hastings SIS / HD360 online portal experience desirable
- Mechanical background or parts interpreter experience desirable
- Must be able to pass medical & drug testing
- Must hold a valid Construction Induction card
- Open Drivers Licence (Manual preferred)
- Forklift License (Preferred or the ability to obtain one)
- Can do attitude, reliable, punctual and fit for duty with the ability to work without supervision
