About the job
UGL are currently seeking a Stores Person in relation to a Brownfield’s Construction Project in Darwin, Northern Territory. The project will commence in March 2024, with an estimated 9-month duration.
You will need to have demonstrated experience working in a similar role, within an O&G Brownfield environment. You will be a local Darwin resident working a 5/2 roster, or will work on a 19/9 roster, FIFO from capital cities within Australia. You will be tasked with analysing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans, and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.
About You
Excellent safety awareness and values
5 years experience in a similar role (preferably Oil & Gas experience)
Self-starter, capable of working independently or within a team environment collaboratively
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and distribution
Knowledge of industry-specific materials, equipment, and safety regulations
