We are looking for a safety-focused and motivated Store Person who works great in a team environment and can help create flow and organization in everyday operations. 

To be successful in the role you need: Store Person

Organizational Skills:

• Ability to efficiently manage and organize inventory.
• Keep track of stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary.

Attention to Detail:

• Accuracy in recording and maintaining inventory data.
• Ensure that the right items are in the right place at the right time.

Communication Skills:

• Effective communication with suppliers, colleagues, and other departments.
• Ability to follow and communicate clearly about stock orders and deliveries.

Physical Fitness:

• Depending on the size of the company, some roles may involve lifting and moving heavy items.
• Health and safety awareness in a warehouse environment.

Forklift License:

• Many stores positions may require a forklift license, especially if handling larger items.

Computer Literacy:

• Proficiency in using inventory management software.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to stock discrepancies.
• Identify and address any logistical challenges that may arise.

Team Player:

• Work collaboratively with other members of the team and different departments.
• Flexibility to assist in various tasks within the warehouse or stores area.

Knowledge of Engineering Products:

• Familiarity with the types of products used in an engineering environment.
• Understanding technical specifications to accurately identify and store items.

Time Management:

• Efficiently handle multiple tasks within a given timeframe.
• Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.

Adaptability:

• Ability to adapt to changes in stock levels, delivery schedules, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Customer Service Skills:

• In some cases, interaction with internal customers (colleagues from different departments) may be necessary.
