Job Description
SGS is seeking a Stores Person to join the team in Willetton.
Reporting to the Supply Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities include warehousing and dispatch operations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure all stock is receipted, dispatched and maintained in correct areas
- Ensure proper packing of orders to minimize breakages, spillages and utilize space properly.
- Undertake efficient storage and warehousing practices
- Maximise warehouse storage space and minimise dangerous goods risk
- Ensure that all waste is properly disposed off from all current and future sites
- Ensure that all lab consumable stock is regularly replenished
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a warehouse operations role in a medium to large company
- Experience with intrastate, interstate and overseas shipping
- Ability to meet business demands, deadlines and timeframes as they arise
- Strong organisational skills and able to work under pressure
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written, who displays exceptional customers services skills
