You will be responsible for a variety of duties such as;
- Maintaining all materials, plant and equipment in a tidy accessible state in the store
- Purchasing materials, minor plant and equipment
- Manage the checking of shipments when they arrive to ensure the orders have been correctly filled and the goods meet specifications
- Ensuring equipment and machinery is calibrated, serviced and maintained
- Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for accounting purposes
- Incoming/outgoing deliveries – this may include site travel
- Assisting yardman and mechanic when required
- General yard maintenance associated with housekeeping and stores
ABOUT YOU
- Current HR drivers licence
- Current high risk forklift licence
- Construction white card
- Intermediate Excel and outlook skills (spreadsheets and emails)
- Stores experience
- Logistics or similar background preferred
- Strong team player, proactive and reliable with high safety standards
