About the role
This role is involved in the management, planning and design of stormwater assets and provides engineering expertise and planning for the renewal, upgrade and maintenance of stormwater assets.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive technical reviews and reporting on stormwater drainage aspects for various applications, including Development Applications, Construction Certificates, Section 68 applications.
- Ensure the timely updating of Council GIS layers related to ongoing projects ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for effective decision-making.
- Provide expert technical advice to support detailed investigations into stormwater aspects of customer and stakeholder requests.
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or other relevant engineering discipline) or recognized degree with relevant experience.
- Significant recent experience in investigation, plan development, estimating and design of stormwater infrastructure works.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder negotiation.
- Current Class C driver’s license and General Construction Induction (White) card.
