A bit about the role
The Strategic Change Advisor will collaborate closely with the organisation to continuously enhance change management capabilities within the City of Casey, ensuring the successful implementation of organisational change initiatives.
You will deliver change management on projects, including initiation, change strategy development, planning, design and implementation.
What you’ll deliver
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior leaders across the organisation, to identify, advise, coach, deliver value and report on change management activities and capability enhancement.
- Partner with senior business leaders and the organisation to establish, embed and improve change capabilities throughout the life cycles of strategically aligned projects.
- Provide strategic implementation advice to business and project leaders on change capacity and all aspects of change management delivery.
- Identify the needs, expectations and requirements of stakeholder groups in conjunction with business owners, subject matter experts and program/project managers and be a conduit between these groups and the people affected by change.
- Design, plan and implement activities that further enhance the organisational change management methodology and its application to organisation strategies, enterprise projects and service delivery changes.
- Develop, plan, document and deliver change management advice and expertise on projects.
What you’ll bring
- An appropriate Change Management certification e.g. PCI, APMG, Agile Change Leadership, Prosci or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Significant experience in applying change management principles, methodologies and tools for multiple projects, particularly change impact assessments, stakeholder management, engagement, communication and training plans.
- Strong knowledge of organisational change management methodologies, communications, stakeholder relationship management, business analysis and project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change initiatives and activities across technology, people and processes which are aligned to organisational strategy, goals and plans.
- Proven ability to design and implement capability development programs and interventions and coach and develop others.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, build partnerships and influence at all levels of the organisation to achieve optimal project outcomes and aligned goals.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, Psychometric Testing.
- A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
